Larissa FastHorse


Larissa FastHorse (Sicangu Lakota) is co-founder of Indigenous Direction a consulting company for organizations who wish to engage equitably with Native American art, artists and audiences. Recent clients include WAA, APAP, the Guthrie Theater and Oregon Shakespeare Festival. She is also an award winning playwright, choreographer and director. Larissa's produced plays include The Thanksgiving Play, What Would Crazy Horse Do?, Cow Pie Bingo, Urban Rez, Landless, Average Family, Teaching Disco Squaredancing to Our Elders: a Class Presentation Vanishing Point, and Cherokee Family Reunion. She is the current vice chair of Theater Communications Group board of directors.
