Tessa Schultz has been the Programming Manager at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts since 2013. Curating their classical, dance, Family Fun, Smart Stage Matinee and Student Enrichment in the Arts series, Schultz has been committed to activating the Broward Center’s cabaret space with local and touring artists as well as implementing the pilot initiative of sensory-friendly performances in the 2017-2018 season. The Broward Center is dedicated to making the arts accessible to all communities including offering the following services: audio description, assistive listening devices, open captioning, sign language interpretation, braille and large print opera librettos, touch tours and sensory-friendly performances. Prior to joining the team, Schultz was Programming Manager and Operations Assistant at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. From NYC originally, Tessa is a graduate of Connecticut College with an undergraduate degree in Theatre and Hispanic Studies.
