Stanlyn Brevé is the Director of National Programs at the National Performance Network (NPN).
NPN contributes to a more just and equitable world by building power for artists, advancing racial and cultural equity in the arts presenting field, fostering relationship-building and exchange, and working towards systems change. Brevé has made her career in the arts as a visual artist, video documenter, media producer, educator and arts administrator. She is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the APAP’s Emerging Leaders Institute, The Interaction Institute for Social Change’s Facilitative Leader Institute, and the James P. Shannon Nonprofit Leadership Program. Brevé has served on the Americans for the Arts Emerging Leaders Council and currently is a Board Member of The Association of American Cultures. She was a featured speaker at the 2014 SphinxCon and has participated as a moderator, speaker, panelist, and volunteer for a variety of organizations. She is a community mediator with Community Mediation Services New Orleans and resides in her hometown of New Orleans, LA.
